Heather is also a martial arts instructor at Quest Martial Arts in Tampa.  Your house will be safe in her hands. Her other passion is swing dancing and when not practicing martial arts or watching your pets, you are sure to find her on the dance floor.

Heather is insured and bonded by Business Insurers of the Carolina and a member of both Pet Sitters International and National Association of Professional Pet Sitters.

Heather Heidemann, owner and main service provider of Animals' Best Friend© has lived in Tampa since 1988, and currently resides in North Tampa with three dogs and three cats.  Like many of you, her animal companions are like her children, and she takes great care to provide them with a healthy environment full of love. 

Animals love her and rarely leave her alone.  Some call it a gift, but the respect that she has for the animals around her allows her to connect with them on a very basic level.  This is the main reason why in 2005 she launched, Animals' Best Friend© pet sitting services.  She enjoys helping others and providing others with the vast amount of knowledge she has accumulated over the years on pet care and general healthy living.  After all, if you do not live a healthy lifestyle, how can you provide that to your pet? 

A bit more about your pet sitter...

In Texas, I grew up in the environment of a farm and ranch.  It was here that my family taught me the importance of understanding the livestock and "working" animals.  From these experiences, I developed a conscience awareness that enabled me to connect and befriend many different animals. 

I pride myself on being kind, honest and fair to the mutual benefit of as many beings as I come into contact (human and animal).  I am also an avid recycler and encourage others to do the same.  I practice a holistic and all natural approach to the lifestyle I provide for my own animals, which in turn helps the earth by advocating less chemical usage and general thoughtful processes in our usage of crop lands.
